The global HIV/AIDS pandemic is the worst humanitarian crisis in all human history, with over 33 million people currently infected with HIV. Subsaharan Africa accounts for 68% of these infections and 75% or the 2.1 million deaths in 2007.

The small country of Malawi is one of the poorest in the world, with a per capita income of only $210/year. HIV only worsens this poverty by attacking people in the prime of their lives; leaving their children as orphans.

Yet even amidst this background of devastation... HOPE abides. Courageous efforts of Malawian nationals and contributions from a concerned international community has made a differenct. This website contains the exciting story of the Partners in Malawi and Partners in Hope, a story which shows that "HOPE CHANGES EVERYTHING".
